Black dresses were all the rage at this year’s AMAs. The host of the ceremony gave us another dramatic look in this color with velvet Alexandre Vauthier, paired with a feathered hairpiece.

Speaking of amazing feathered looks that Cardi B rocked throughout the night, she gave us another one in this purple Jean-Louis Sabaji gown with feathers and crystal embellishment.

Ray of Sunshine

“WAP” singer took a break from dark colors and looked like a ray of sunshine in this bright, sheer gown by Jean Paul Gaultier.

Sparkly silver outfits dominated the red carpet and we’re bringing you the five best looks that stole the show at this year’s AMAs.

Taraji P. Henson

The host of this year’s ceremony delivered one of the best looks of the evening in an extravagant Giorgio Armani mini dress and a matching headwrap that made the look 100% better.

Jennifer Lopez

We can always count on J.Lo to rock our world with her fashion choices and she did it with a draped Balmain silver crop top with structured shoulders and a side slit skirt this time around.

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa wore two Versace mini dresses for the occasion, including this sparkly number with a cowl neckline that’s giving us major ‘90s vibes.

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton was one of the shiniest stars at this year’s AMAs thanks to her shimmering Valdrin Sahiti mini dress with long sleeves, structured shoulders, and a plunging neckline.

Cara Delevingne

The red carpet at the AMAs wasn’t lacking power suits thanks to Cara Delevingne, who hit the red carpet in the metallic Dolce & Gabbana combo that she paired off with a nude corset.

This year, celebrities were not afraid to take fashion risks and for many of them it really paid off. We can’t stop thinking about these four looks that stood out from all the rest.

Lizzo

How cute is Lizzo’s little micro-bag? We don’t think she could actually fit anything into it, but we’re here for it. Her ruffled orange dress by Valentino is just as cute. The caption the singer wrote on the photo says it all, “Bag big enough for my f**s to give. Big body bitch in a Valentin-HO custom look.” 

Billie Eilish

At first, we didn’t know who was under the mask, but when we looked at the outfit we knew it had to be the “Bad Guy” singer Billie Eilish. Who else could pull off a Burberry suit? The crystal mesh sleeves and mesh bonnet were definitely a look.

Lil Nas X

It’s not often that men take fashion risks and Lil Nas X definitely showed that he belongs on the red carpet. The neon green suit, complete with puff shoulders and a zebra shirt was unlike any looks we saw. We’re excited to see what the singer wears to the next red carpet.

Billy Porter

Porter looked like a piece of artwork with his all-white Thom Browne outfit with a matching headpiece. If you look closely, you can see peeks of red, white, and blue details in the look. Porter tweeted, “I’m wearing hints of red, white and blue because I’m an American. And this is what we look like.”
