]]> ColourPop has given us many collections inspired by our favorite movies and TV shows, becoming the go-to brand with people who enjoy makeup and popular culture in equal measure. Many of their recent launches are inspired by anime, and these three are responsible for putting this trend on the map.

Sailor Moon

A makeup collection that started it all, ColourPop’s Sailor Moon line single-handedly put anime-themed makeup on the map. It became such a huge hit that the brand had to restock it, and they eventually decided to launch several more anime lines, hopping on the bandwagon of its overnight success.

The Legend of Korra

Shortly after restocking their Sailor Moon line back in March, ColourPop decided to surprise us with another anime-inspired collection. Their The Legend of Korra line has something for everyone in store because its versatile color palette draws inspiration from the four elements: water, earth, fire, and air.

Naruto

Just when we thought we’d seen it all, ColourPop celebrated summer by dropping their most impressive anime line of all. Their Naruto collection offers everything from pressed power palettes to gel liners in vibrant colors that pay homage to the show’s three main characters – Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke.
