After months of anticipation, the Primetime Emmy Awards made an epic comeback on Monday night and gave us countless amazing red carpet looks. Everyone from Niecy Nash to Jessica Chastain was on top of their fashion game, and we’re bringing you the looks that stole the show.

Red and wine-colored gowns were going stronger than ever at this year’s Emmys, and we’ve several stars embrace this trend with open arms. Suki Waterhouse showed off her baby bump in a red Valentino gown, while Selena Gomez and Taraji P. Henson hit the red carpet in wine-inspired hues.

Green dresses were also having a moment on Monday night, and we’ve seen Jessica Chastain and Jenna Ortega give this trend their seal of approval. Ortega also put floral gowns on the map with her pale green Christian Dior number, along with Simona Tabasco in Marni.

Many stars at the Emmys stuck to the classics and hit the red carpet wearing black. That was the case with Niecy Nash, Ayo Edebiri, and Juno Temple, who all found a way to put their own twist on this timeless color.

No award ceremony is complete without a few meme-worthy dresses, and Aubrey Plaza’s Loewe gown is the latest to spark a hilarious viral trend with its post-it note-inspired design.

TV’s biggest night returned to Los Angeles on Monday night and gave us some amazing red carpet looks we’ll be talking about for weeks to come. This year’s Primetime Emmy Awards featured countless amazing looks and we’re bringing you five that got everyone talking.

Elle Fanning

Speaking of classy black dresses we saw at the Emmys, Fanning brought some old Hollywood glamour to the red carpet with her elegant Sharon Long gown with blush details.

Zendaya

We can count on Zendaya to make the best-dressed list at every red carpet event she attends and she rightfully deserved that spot with her elegant strapless black ballgown by Valentino.

Amanda Seyfried

Delicate dresses in different shades of pink were all the rage at this awards ceremony and Seyfried gave us one of the very best with this dazzling Armani Privé column gown.

Christina Ricci

Christina Ricci delivered one of the most show-stopping looks of the night with this custom Fendi Couture gown. Despite its simple shape, this dress knocked us off our feet with its all-over sequined design.

Quinta Brunson

The Abbott Elementary star made quite a splash while attending her first Emmy Awards in this caramel-colored Dolce&Gabana gown with a high slit and spectacular bodice.

The Emmys are the latest awards show to embrace virtual format this year, but that didn’t stop our favorite stars from dressing up for the occasion. We’re bringing you five looks that stole the show at the virtual ceremony.

Zendaya

We can always count on Zendaya to dominate the red carpet—even when there isn’t an actual red carpet. That’s exactly what she did at the Emmys in two beautiful dresses by Christopher John Rogers and Armani Prive.

Laverne Cox

Cox also pulled double duty at the Emmys and rocked our world in the magenta gown by Azzi & Osta before switching to the black Kim Kassas jumpsuit.

Regina King

Regina King also impressed us with her fashion choices at the Emmy Awards and her puffy Schiaparelli gown in bold blue color was just perfect for the virtual ceremony.

Jameela Jamil became one of the biggest on-screen style icons thanks to the role of Tahani Al-Jamil on The Good Place. The British actress looks absolutely fabulous in every scene, and it turns out she didn’t even need any help from the makeup department because she did it all on her own.

Jamil discussed her beauty routine with E! at the red carpet before the Emmys and explained she decided to speak up after realizing she had to spend much more time doing hair and makeup than her male co-star.

“I realized the girls were getting in like 4:45 or 4:30 in the morning and I realized we had an hour and 45 minutes in hair and makeup. I was like, ‘How ugly do you think I am? There’s no prosthetics on me. I just need half an hour in hair and makeup. I’ll do my own makeup,’” joked the actress.

Someone else did her hair, but saving time on makeup eventually helped her give a better performance because it’s easier to be funny when you’re not tired. Doing her own makeup is nothing new for Jameela Jamil, and she did the same for the Emmys, where she showed up in a stunning Monique Lhuillier gown.

This year’s Emmy Awards ceremony was another star-studded affair, and Hollywood royalty really put their best effort into looking better than ever. Fleabag ended up picking up the most awards by the end of the night, but stars of this show weren’t the only ones shining brightly.

Fall may be here, but red carpet at the Emmys was anything but boring, with pastel colors ruling the night. Black and white combo also made a major appearance and we noticed several dresses that played with a pretty unique pink and red mix.

Icy blues and clean whites were also all over the place – and so were pleats, turtlenecks, and one-shoulder numbers. Long story short, Emmy Awards gave us a long list of red carpet trends we’ll be keeping an eye on, and here are the best red carpet looks that knocked us off our feet.

 Zendaya in Vera Wang

Naomi Watts in Dior

Emilia Clarke in Valentino

Gwendoline Christie in Gucci

Sophie Turner in Louis Vuitton

Regina King in Jason Wu
