This year’s Fashion Awards were the cream of the crop, and Britain’s biggest A-list stars couldn’t miss the chance to attend the show. The red carpet at this ceremony introduced us to many show-stopping trends that we’ll be seeing everywhere in the months to come.

Over-the-Top Gowns

Many of the stars in attendance embraced the “go big or go home” approach to fashion, including Aweng Chuol in Vetements, Maya Jama in Dolce & Gabbana, and Nicole Scherzinger in Patrick McDowell.

White Winter

With winter just around the corner, white outfits are having a moment, and Anne Hathaway, Maya Jama, Michaela Coel, Pamela Anderson, and Simone Ashley were among the stars to embrace this trend.

Just Add Velvet

If you’re a huge fan of velvet dresses, you’ll be happy to hear they’re making a major comeback. Sheila Atim, Gillian Anderson, and Jourdan Dunn were spotted wearing them at this year’s Fashion Awards.

Make it Shine

Dazzling details were an essential part of many outfits at this year’s ceremony. Amal Clooney, Alexa Chung, Letitia Wright, and Jasmine Jobson were glowing brighter than ever in their shiny dresses.

Corset Bonanza

Many stars this year made their red carpet look even more dramatic by adding corsets to the mix, starting with Munroe Bergdorf, Nicole Scherzinger, Adut Akech, Sheila Atim, and Maya Jama.

Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance at this year’s Fashion Awards to present Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy with her shiny statue, but she wasn’t the only star who looked stunning at this ceremony. Let’s take a look at the five celebs who impressed us with their fashion choices at this event.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley

This year’s Fashion Awards were all about Givenchy haute couture pieces, and this magnificent feathered gown was our absolute favorite.

Naomie Harris

This party-ready Miu Miu dress may seem like a weird choice for the red carpet, but Harris gets our vote for trying something different and looking drop-dead gorgeous in the process.

Poppy Delevingne

If they were giving away an award for the most elegant look of the night, Poppy Delevingne would win by a landslide thanks to her Barbie-like Prada dress.

Meghan Markle

Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance at this year’s ceremony and charmed everyone in her custom Givenchy haute couture gown.

Rosamund Pike

Gone Girl star stayed true to the black dress theme with this sharp Givenchy ensemble. She added extra bling to the outfit with her shimmering top.
