]]>Many of our favorite costumes this year were rooted in the late 90s and early 2000s nostalgia, and we’ve seen many stars dress up as movie characters from these eras. Hailey Bieber transformed into every main character from Mean Girls, while Kim Kardashian put her twist on Clueless alongside her daughter North West.
The Kardashians weren’t the only ones impressing us with amazing matching costumes. Riverdale stars Camila Mendes, Madeline Petsch, and Lili Reinhart gave us another amazing matching costume as the Gotham City Sirens, while Ariana Grande and her Victorious co-star Elizabeth Gillies dressed up as their favorite characters from Showgirls.
Costumes inspired by famous musicians were also having a moment this Halloween. Paris Hilton gave us two as Britney Spears and Katy Perry, and so did Halle Bailey, who dressed up as both Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston.
Heidi Klum, Kendall Jenner, Keke Palmer, and Megan Thee Stallion also made it to our list of the best Halloween costumes this year, so stick around to check out their epic transformations.

]]>This trend perfectly fits into the era of sleek hair and flawless high ponytails, which are as stylish now as they were back in the ‘90s. Celebrity hairstylist Danielle Priano brought this trend back while working with Bella Hadid and Kylie Jenner, and many other celebrities quickly followed suit.
Priano’s go-to look, which was embraced by these Instagram stars, features a sleek ponytail with hair wrapped around its base and side parting. Unlike signature Bratz doll hairstyles that often come with long straight hair, their modern version mostly comes with a short bob – which is only fitting, since it’s one of the biggest trends of the year.
We can’t wait to see how this trend evolves over time since that’s bound to happen, but we already like it as it is. If you feel the same way, get ready to start parting your hair on the side and channel your inner Bratz doll by copying one of these amazing looks.

Wu made a flashy statement in Toronto when she appeared in front of the photographers in this dazzling Georges Hobeika number with an eye-catching bow.
Palmer opted for a more subtle approach to the red carpet, but still managed to deliver our favorite look of the evening in her glamorous Roberto Cavalli dress.
