]]>Rihanna announced her departure in a statement shared with Vogue Business, but she’ll remain in a leadership role as executive chair despite no longer serving as Savage X Fenty’s chief executive officer.
“It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years. This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer,” she explained.
Rihanna also added she’s grateful and excited to welcome Hillary Super as the brand’s new CEO, and described her as a strong leader who’ll take Savage X Fenty to an even higher level. The former Anthropologie Group CEO echoed her statement and said she’s thrilled to join this major powerhouse in the lingerie and apparel industry.
Rihanna served as CEO of Savage X Fenty since its launch in 2018. The brand reached a $1 billion valuation in 2021, after receiving a lot of praise for promoting diversity and inclusivity in the lingerie industry.

The snaps, posted on Instagram and Twitter, drummed up quite the support, earning 8 million Instagram likes and 100,000 retweets in just 5 hours after being released.
