It might look intricate, but with a little practice, you’ll be braiding like a pro in no time! This tutorial will guide you through the steps of creating a beautiful fishtail braid.

Start with a secure base. Decide where you want your braid to begin. You can braid from the crown of your head for a full style, or start lower for a half-up, half-down look. 

Divide your hair into two sections. Take a small, thin strand of hair from the outer edge of the right section. Cross it over the top of the right section and incorporate it into the left section.

Now, take a small, thin strand of hair from the outer edge of the left section. Cross it over the top of the left section and incorporate it into the right section.

Continue incorporating sections until you reach the end of your hair. Tie the end of the braid with a hair tie.

For a more relaxed look, gently tug on the sides of the braid to loosen it up a bit. You can also adjust any flyaways with bobby pins.

]]> Who said ugly Christmas sweaters had to be red and green with reindeer or Santa? This season Microsoft unveiled something a bit more creative. Their unique addition to the festive wardrobe is an “ugly sweater” inspired by the iconic Windows XP. Yep, a computer-themed ugly sweater. 

Windows XP enjoyed an impressive 13-year lifespan. For five of those years, it was the newest version available, and for an additional three, it retained popularity even as successors emerged. This made XP’s default wallpaper, “Bliss”, one of the most recognizable images globally.

In a delightful nod to this legacy, Microsoft’s latest holiday sweater features the serene green hills and blue sky of the Bliss wallpaper. A giant mouse pointer hovers over the scene, to make sure the design is unmistakably rooted in computing nostalgia.

]]> Who said ugly Christmas sweaters had to be red and green with reindeer or Santa? This season Microsoft unveiled something a bit more creative. Their unique addition to the festive wardrobe is an “ugly sweater” inspired by the iconic Windows XP. Yep, a computer-themed ugly sweater. 

Windows XP enjoyed an impressive 13-year lifespan. For five of those years, it was the newest version available, and for an additional three, it retained popularity even as successors emerged. This made XP’s default wallpaper, “Bliss”, one of the most recognizable images globally.

In a delightful nod to this legacy, Microsoft’s latest holiday sweater features the serene green hills and blue sky of the Bliss wallpaper. A giant mouse pointer hovers over the scene, to make sure the design is unmistakably rooted in computing nostalgia.

Microsoft’s foray into “ugly sweaters” actually isn’t new.
