Although Coachella co-opted fringe and denim cutoffs, you don’t have to feel like you are peacocking or trying to out stage Beyoncé. Here are a couple of Coachella icons that are realistically styled out and won’t sacrifice comfort.

Denim cutoffs

These can be paired with a neutral Hawaiian printed shirt and your daisy dukes. Add some tinted aviators and you’re sure to stand out among the Instagram influencers.

Western

It is actually quite easy to pull off without looking like an extra from Butch Cassidy. The way to do this is to stick to muted versions of cowboy staples.

Crochet

This is elegant and timeless. However, don’t just go for the traditional halter, mix it up with a cute little satchel to break tradition, but keep the style.

Fringe

It is not just meant for neutral suede, it can come in many forms. A beaded fringe top is not always expected but can liven up any simple slip dress. If you’re going Burning Man, be daring and go solo.

Body jewelry

Body jewelry is essential but can wreck any outfit. Steer clear of the feathers and rather opt for a more subtle or barely their body chain to compliment your white tank-top with a little subtle shine.
