Kim Kardashian is gearing up for the launch of her new “Matte” makeup range, and she’s using it to pay homage to the timeless glamour of the ‘90s.
Promotional photos see the reality star rocking some of the most iconic outfits of the era – including the strappy belt dress, first worn by Donatella Versace.
The collection itself is a throwback to the signature colors that the Kardashian used to wear during her teen years. It features two eyeshadow palettes, six lipsticks and lip liners, and five eyeliners in two entirely different color ranges – Matte Smoke and Matte Cocoa.
Kardashian’s new collection didn’t really take us by surprise because she’s always been very open about her love for the ‘90s and described them as her favorite era.
“I’ve always really been super inspired by just like the glamour of the ‘90s. I just look at all of the amazing supermodels and to see how they would wear things on the runway and from their hair and makeup to the dresses, and everything is super relevant to today,” Kim Kardashian told People Magazine.
All of the products from her new collection will be available for purchase starting with August 16th, on the official website of KKW Beauty.
