The Grammy-winning singer brought her fresh and bold energy to the French beauty brand’s new campaign, which puts the iconic L’Absolu Rouge Drama Matte lipstick front and center.
Rodrigo was announced as the new face of Lancôme just last month, joining the ranks of Amanda Seyfried, Emma Chamberlain, and Penélope Cruz. She said it was an honor to become a member of the Lancôme family because this iconic and timeless brand is committed to promoting beauty from within.
Almost a month later, Rodrigo’s first campaign with Lancôme hit the shelves, and it spotlight’s the brand’s L’Absolu Rouge Drama Matte lipstick. This timeless classic is available in 18 shades, and Rodrigo opted for two colors that perfectly capture her personal style – Haute en Pink and Plum Addiction.
According to Marie-Eve Dove, the global marketing VP of Lancôme, their collaboration with Rodrigo represents a chance to reimagine beauty for current and future generations.
“For this campaign, we wanted to emphasize Olivia’s natural beauty and youthful energy, while showcasing the elegance and power of L’Absolu Rouge Drama Matte, and how color can drive euphoric emotions. The creative direction was to keep things modern, fresh, and simple,” Dove told Forbes.
