]]>Do Revenge centers on two teens (Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke) who join forces to take down each other’s bullies. It takes inspiration from such films and Cruel Intentions, Clueless, Mean Girls, Heathers, and Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion—both in terms of tone and fashion.
Since the characters spend most of their time in uniforms, costume designer Alana Morshead put a lot of thought into making the right choice. Korean school uniforms were the main source of inspiration, so she added capes and blazers to the mix, and opted for a pastel purple and light green color palette.
“With our kids, even at school, they really care about their appearance, and we had so many pairs of earrings, socks, and shoes because that was how they could accessorize and express themselves. It just added to that fun, heightened reality,” Morshead told InStyle.
She also put a lot of effort into picking outfits for Drea and Eleanor, played by Mendes and Hawke. She wanted their looks to have very specific color differences, with Drea wearing blues, purples, and solids with a ‘90s supermodel vibe, while Eleanor opted for warmer and more vibrant tones that gave her a hippier, Twiggy vibe.

]]>Chopra looks chic and ready for warm weather in this midi-length slip dress, which she accented with nude-colored patent leather square-toed sandals, a matching blue Ferragamo mini purse, and black Le Specs sunglasses. The actress was seen sporting this multicolored silk dress by Hale Bob as she left her Manhattan apartment.
Take a page out of Chopra’s book and turn heads in your own slip dress this summer. Don’t be afraid to wear the lingerie-esque style outside the house, just make it a little more daytime like Chopra did with a beautiful bag, sandals, and some on-trend sunglasses. Oh, and a fun pattern doesn’t hurt either.

]]>The tie-dye trend is everywhere, from the high-street stores to your favorite online shopping site. Are you ready to rock it or would you rather have it stay in the ‘90s?
Tie-dye is actually much older. The first garments colored with this technique appeared in the ’60 and they were a perfect illustration of eccentric lifestyle people led back then. It was mostly worn by teenagers, but that’s no longer the case.
A tie-dye shirt is a true statement piece that you may not love at first, but once you do, you won’t be able to set it aside. The possibilities for wearing it are endless. These funky shirts go great with everything from jeans to colorful skirts, but you can also get a tie-dye skirt and pair it up with a white shirt and a denim jacket.
Once you start playing with it, you’ll quickly understand where the popularity of this trend comes from.
