Many of their recent launches are inspired by anime, and these three are responsible for putting this trend on the map.

Sailor Moon

A makeup collection that started it all, ColourPop’s Sailor Moon line single-handedly put anime-themed makeup on the map. It became such a huge hit that the brand had to restock it, and they eventually decided to launch several more anime lines, hopping on the bandwagon of its overnight success.

The Legend of Korra

]]> Disney isn’t giving us the Lizzie McGuire reboot we desperately craved this year, but ColourPop Cosmetics came up with the perfect way to fill the Lizzie McGuire-shaped hole in our hearts. They welcomed spring with a new makeup collection inspired by this beloved teen series.

ColourPop announced it with an Instagram post that featured a photo of Lizzie’s silhouette and a caption that read, “Grab your ankle bracelet, hair crimper, and butterfly clips … it’s time for some outfit repeating!”

It was immediately clear that they’re teasing a makeup collection inspired by Lizzie McGuire, which will feature a series of products, including a 12-pan eyeshadow palette. Shade titles are inspired by obvious references and one-liners, such as “outie”, “soo mature”, and “don’t freak”.

In addition to the eyeshadow palette, this makeup collection will also feature lip scrub, four lip glosses, two glitter gels, and two pressed powder blushes. All the products are hitting the shelves on March 26th, and you can get your hands on them by visiting www.colourpop.com.
