The post Kim Kardashian Makes Her Comeback to the World of Makeup With SKKN appeared first on Our Fashion Trends.
]]>According to SKKN’s official website, this brand was born out of Kardashian’s lifelong passion for beauty and inspired by the insider secrets she’s gathered over the years. Its main mission is to “redefine beauty standards, champion inclusivity, and inspire confidence.”
SKKN isn’t Kardashian’s first beauty brand—she used to run KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance, before deciding to shut them down and innovate their formulas and packaging. She eventually merged all her cosmetics brands under the SKKN moniker, making it more accessible to consumers.
Kardashian’s first makeup drop with SKKN includes 14 velvety-smooth lipliners, in neutral shades ranging from light beige nude to deep chocolate nude, at $22 apiece. She also introduced 10 soft matte lipstick shades at $32 and the Classic Mattes Eyeshadow Palette with 12 colors at $50.
All products are available for purchase on SKKN’s official website, along with a wide range of skincare products that were part of the brand’s initial launch.

]]>Many of our favorite costumes this year were rooted in the late 90s and early 2000s nostalgia, and we’ve seen many stars dress up as movie characters from these eras. Hailey Bieber transformed into every main character from Mean Girls, while Kim Kardashian put her twist on Clueless alongside her daughter North West.
The Kardashians weren’t the only ones impressing us with amazing matching costumes. Riverdale stars Camila Mendes, Madeline Petsch, and Lili Reinhart gave us another amazing matching costume as the Gotham City Sirens, while Ariana Grande and her Victorious co-star Elizabeth Gillies dressed up as their favorite characters from Showgirls.
Costumes inspired by famous musicians were also having a moment this Halloween. Paris Hilton gave us two as Britney Spears and Katy Perry, and so did Halle Bailey, who dressed up as both Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston.
Heidi Klum, Kendall Jenner, Keke Palmer, and Megan Thee Stallion also made it to our list of the best Halloween costumes this year, so stick around to check out their epic transformations.

]]>It’s no secret that the SKIMS founder is a huge fan of the middle-part, but we’ve seen her wear her hair on the side a few times in the past few months and she always looked amazing.
Khloé is probably the biggest fan of the side-part in her entire family and it’s always refreshing to see her switch to this hairstyle.
Kourtney Kardashian always enjoyed experimenting with fashion and beauty and trying things that are out of the box, so it’s not a shocker to see she’s a fan of the side part.
The famous model is fiercely loyal to the middle part and it’s almost impossible to see her with a different hairstyle, but even she couldn’t resist the draw of the side part.

]]>This theme was all about honoring fashion trends of bygone eras and attendees did it in many different ways. Some of the night’s best looks transported us all the way back to the gilded age, with tons of fringe, bows, ruffles, feathers, and other decorative details.
Others literally took us back in time, starting with Kim Kardashian, who wore Marylin Monroe’s original “Happy birthday, Mr. President” gown designed by Jean Louis. Blake Lively also gave us one of the night’s most show-stopping moments in her Versace dress, which revealed a long turquoise train once the oversized golden bow was untied.
Golden gowns, in general, were all the rage at this year’s Met Gala, and Kardashian and Lively weren’t the only ones to embrace them. So did Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, and many other stars in attendance. The list of leading fashion trends also includes sheer black gowns, white dresses with a twist, statement headpieces and gloves, and tons of sequins, feathers, and ruffles.
Check out some of the most talked-about looks at this year’s Met Gala and see for yourself if your favorite stars stayed on theme.

]]>KKW x KRIS has been described as a chic fragrance with a woody white floral scent, and it comes in a bottle with a minimalistic design and a symbolic plaque that captures the close bond between a mother and daughter.
This perfume will launch on April 15th, and 20% proceeds from all sales on the official website of KKW Fragrance until May 5th will go towards Blessings in a Backpack, a charity that provides elementary school children with free food on the weekends.
This is the first fragrance that Kardashian and Jenner worked on together, but their collaboration was a long time coming.
“Creating a fragrance together with Kim just in time for Mother’s Day was magical! We’ve talked about collaborating for years, so to see our shared vision come to life is truly a dream come true,” said Jenner in a statement.

]]>Dozens of celebrities gave us countless flawless looks over the years, but these five became a part of a cultural conversation and grew into the biggest style icons in the world.
Rihanna has proven herself as a true fashion chameleon, and her influence will only grow bigger in the next decade thanks to her newly launched fashion house Fenty.
Zendaya is the biggest style star of her generation, and we’re looking forward to all the fashion collaboration she has in store for the future.
It’s pretty much impossible to name a bigger fashion trailblazer of the 2010s than Lady Gaga, who managed to make the headlines every time she hit the red carpet.
No matter how you feel about the Kardashians, you must admit their success changed the way major brands approach fashion and led to emergence of promotional tools they haven’t been using before.
Kate Middleton, and especially Meghan Markle, ushered a new era for the royal family and most of the items they’ve been seen wearing sold out in a matter of hours.

]]>Emily Ratajkowski is just the latest in a long line of supermodels to sport the trend in public, namely while walking her dog. We all know that Ratajkowski loves to take the opportunity to show off her curves while exercising her pooch; the model wore a black bodycon playsuit and sneakers while out for a stroll with Columbo in Manhattan -putting the rest of our dog walking outfits to shame, per usual.
Kendall Jenner has also been seen wearing an iteration of the trend while out on the town, probably drawing inspiration from older sister, Kim Kardashian West, who just released her own shapewear line called Skims. Kardashian West has been a long-time lover of the skin-tight athleisure, sporting it for years and dressing it up with heels and chic accessories for any occasion.

]]>While the site is bizarrely minimalist (featuring a sole mannequin posing with one hand on her hip against a white background for every outfit) the clothes themselves are anything but. From Kim’s collection, there’s plenty of body con mini dresses with gaudy accents from her earlier years, while Kylie’s items are a bit more reflective of her current style and come in a variety of crazy colors and textures.
Perhaps the most perplexing pieces are from momager Kris’ closet. Kris is selling everything from sleek Givenchy and Chanel dresses to (possibly sweaty?) Adidas tracksuits for all your formal and casual needs.
While Kendall seems to be left out of the rest of the famous family’s wardrobe purge, Khloé and Kourtney’s collections are coming soon to the site!

]]>The famous reality star opted for a Vivienne Westwood gown and added some drama to her look with several chunky necklaces that gave us a strong ‘90s vibe – just like one of her latest makeup collections, which paid homage to this era.
Kim Kardashian was spotted in this outfit about a week after she attended Creative Arts Emmy Awards in a similar dress. She showed up on the red carpet in another black velvet number with a high neckline and finished the look with a pair of matching heels with crisscross straps.
Long story short, this means that she attended two events in a row wearing a similar design, and it’s just a matter of time before the rest of the world takes notice. Other celebrities, including Rihanna and Camila Cabello, have also been spotted rocking black velvet recently, showing the world this trend isn’t going anywhere.

]]>This trend perfectly fits into the era of sleek hair and flawless high ponytails, which are as stylish now as they were back in the ‘90s. Celebrity hairstylist Danielle Priano brought this trend back while working with Bella Hadid and Kylie Jenner, and many other celebrities quickly followed suit.
Priano’s go-to look, which was embraced by these Instagram stars, features a sleek ponytail with hair wrapped around its base and side parting. Unlike signature Bratz doll hairstyles that often come with long straight hair, their modern version mostly comes with a short bob – which is only fitting, since it’s one of the biggest trends of the year.
We can’t wait to see how this trend evolves over time since that’s bound to happen, but we already like it as it is. If you feel the same way, get ready to start parting your hair on the side and channel your inner Bratz doll by copying one of these amazing looks.
