]]>Silver dresses were going stronger than ever at this year’s Oscars, and some of the night’s best red carpet looks came in this color. Demi Moore brought out the sparkles in her custom Armani Prive gown, Halle Berry rocked our world in her mirror-like Christian Siriano dress, but we’ve also seen Felicity Jones, Mindy Kaling, and Yvonne Orji show up in silver.
Shimmering dresses were having a moment in general, and Demi Moore and Halle Berry weren’t the only ones shining brighter than ever at the Oscars. Selena Gomez delivered one of the night’s best looks in the custom Ralph Lauren gown, embellished with over 16,000 glass droplets.
The Barbiecore trend made its return at the Oscars, and we’ve seen several stars hit the red carpet in different shades of pink. Ariana Grande paid homage to Wicked in a structural Schiaparelli gown, Mikey Madison picked up her Oscar for Anora in a pink and black Dior dress, and we’ve also seen Monica Barbaro and Rachel Sennott rock this trendy color.

Oz Homage
Even when she wasn’t wearing pink, Grande still found ways to pay homage to The Wizard of Oz and the original Wicked musical. Her yellow Ralph Lauren dress from London and sparkly pumps from Los Angeles are a case in point.
Witchy Vibes
Erivo and Grande weren’t the only ones going “method” while promoting Wicked. Michelle Yeoh embodied her character Madame Morrible by wearing a blonde wig and a witchy black dress in Los Angeles.

]]>The eponymous red carpet actually changed the color to champagne for the first time in history, and many stars welcomed the change by wearing gowns in neutral colors. White dresses were all the rage at this year’s Oscars, and the list of stars embracing this trend includes everyone from Michelle Yeoh and Tems to Halle Berry and Mindy Kaling.
This year’s Oscars didn’t lack black dresses, either, but our favorite stars managed to put a twist on this trend. Jessica Chastain and Nicole Kidman added some silver to the mix, while Cate Blanchett and Janelle Monae opted for vibrant shades of blue and orange.
The sea of ruffles and tulle overtook the champagne carpet. Florence Pugh’s gown almost matched the carpet, while Cara Delevingne, Angela Bassett, and Fan Bing Bin put their own spin on this trend.
This year’s Academy Awards also marked the rise of exposed corsets, and we’re expecting to see more of them after Lady Gaga, Mindy Kaling, Halle Bailey, and Zoe Saldana put them on the map.
