]]> If Paris Fashion Week Fall 2019 earlier this year taught us anything it’s that suits are not just for the office this season. Balenciaga, Givenchy, and Alexander McQueen featured suits in all types of materials and cuts – modern takes on the timelessly classic silhouette. Showing us how to take the look off the runway into everyday fashion is Gigi Hadid, with a particularly trendy and breezy version. 

The supermodel stepped in Manhattan a couple of weeks ago in a blue and white tie-dyed ensemble from Oscar de la Renta’s Resort 2020 collection: the linen suit was blue and white ombréd and paired with a matching undershirt to really complete the look. Hadid finished off the outfit with pointy-toed white cowboy boots, oval glasses with violet lenses, and an itty-bitty mini bag in a coordinating blue ombré. The overall look was ultra-90s inspired, while staying perfectly modern by touching on summer’s tie-dye trend. Take a page out of Hadid’s book if you’re searching for a look that packs a boardroom power punch, but is casual enough to take you from work to play.

The actress stepped out in New York City wearing a rather tricky trend: the wide-leg trousers (especially in the print that she chose (mustard yellow and checked)). But, Holmes, of course, knew exactly what to do: offsetting the blousy-ness of the pants with pointy pumps, Holmes kept her legs looking long and lean. ]]> Spanx has been in the closets of fashionistas for quite some time now. But this season, it looks like we don’t need to wear anything on top of it anymore. That’s right, our favorite fashionable celebs are wearing shapewear sans outerwear and making a huge street style statement. 

Emily Ratajkowski is just the latest in a long line of supermodels to sport the trend in public, namely while walking her dog. We all know that Ratajkowski loves to take the opportunity to show off her curves while exercising her pooch; the model wore a black bodycon playsuit and sneakers while out for a stroll with Columbo in Manhattan -putting the rest of our dog walking outfits to shame, per usual. 

Kendall Jenner has also been seen wearing an iteration of the trend while out on the town, probably drawing inspiration from older sister, Kim Kardashian West, who just released her own shapewear line called Skims. Kardashian West has been a long-time lover of the skin-tight athleisure, sporting it for years and dressing it up with heels and chic accessories for any occasion.
