]]>The entire ensemble screamed Carrie Bradshaw: while the shoes (one bright pink with a bejeweled buckle and the other, chartreuse) was a subtle nod to a look that Carrie wore in a Season 3 episode (where the gang goes to Los Angeles), the gown reminds us more of the one that she wore in Season 6 when Carrie goes to meet “the Russian” in Paris. ]]>Target kicked off 20 years of amazing partnerships when they teamed up with Michael Graves in 1999. In the years to come, their shoppers had the pleasure to buy exclusive items designed by Zac Posen, Proenza Schouler, Jason Wu, and many more amazing fashion visionaries.
Some of these items will make their way back to Target stores and their official website on September 14th, just in time to mark 20 years of designer partnerships that made high-end fashion accessible to the masses.
Mark Tritton, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Target, believes that each of these partnerships brought something special to their stores, and promised they’re just getting started.
“Target has forever changed the retail landscape by doing what once was considered impossible – offering great design at an incredible price. This anniversary celebrates our rich design history and the diverse range of partnerships we’ve offered our guests for the last 20 years,” said Tritton in a press release.
