It’s always fun to score a good price on items and the deals can’t be beat when you thrift. Sometimes you will get super lucky and find a new item with the original price tags still on it. It’s not uncommon to find Reformation items or Free People.

Don’t forget to go thrifting on holiday weekends because many locations feature 50% off storewide – that’s 50% off already really cheap prices! Also, many stores have a color of the week which is 50% off. The hunt for these items and the thrill when you find them is so exciting.

We all know that trends always come back in style. That’s why it’s perfect to find trendy items at the thrift store because these items were probably once trendy decades ago. You can find vintage items and it’s not uncommon to see Levi’s- which are selling for almost $100 on Urban Outfitters!

Charlotte Knowles of KNWLS debuted in 2018 and the London label is already much-loved by Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Nicki Minaj, Dua Lipa, Paloma Elsesser, and Dina Asher-Smith. The brand features fitted silhouettes with unique prints.

Miaou

Miaou is super trendy and edgy, which is no wonder why Kourtney Kardashian and Megan Fox are its biggest fans. The brand is super fashion-forward with corsets, cow-print, and leather pieces being seen throughout the collections.

Nensi Dojaka

This brand made its solo debut at London Fashion Week and it won the 2021 LVMH prize. Emily Ratajkowski and Dua Lipa are just some of the many celebrities rocking Nensi Dojaka’s body-hugging pieces that feature stringy details.

]]> We had high hopes going into the 2021 Met Gala as the event was postponed from its usual May date and we weren’t disappointed. The theme was American style and the stars brought glam to the red carpet. While some took the theme quite literally wearing red, white, and blue, others were all about high fashion. There were so many jawdropping looks that we had trouble narrowing it down to our top five. Here were the best looks of the night.

Megan Fox

A lady in red never disappoints and Megan Fox brought Old Hollywood glam to the red carpet in this red lace-up dress by Dundas that featured a high leg slit. Her hair and makeup were also on point.

Iman

This look from the model took our breaths away and while it’s over-the-top, it certainly worked perfectly for the Met Gala. The gold showstopping jumpsuit with a tiered, feather overskirt and matching headpiece was designed by Harris Reed.

Lil Nas X

The rapper revealed not one, not two, but three epic looks from Versace. The first was a royal dress, then he de-robed to a gold armor suit, before the final look which was a sparkly bodysuit.

Kendall Jenner

Barely there dresses have been really popular at award shows, but Kendall Jenner made it look super classy with this stunning sheer beige, curve-hugging, rhinestone-encrusted dress by Givenchy.

Barbie Ferreira

The Euphoria star graced the Met Gala in this stunning pearl-encrusted Jonathan Simkhai gown that also brought Old Hollywood. The dress featured halter and off-the-shoulder details and it hugged her curves perfectly.

The creators of NakedPoppy, Jaleh Bisharat and Kimberly Shenk, decided it was time to do something about this problem so they developed technology to help create personalized makeup recommendations. NakedPoppy is a website that sells cruelty-free, clean, long-lasting beauty products.

Bisharat, co-founder and CEO of the company said, “We call it better for you, better on you. We wake up breathing clean beauty… it’s the core of what we do.”

The site offers a three-minute quiz to access your skin type, skin color, hair color, etc. The assessment also has a camera that takes a picture of your wrist to figure out your base skin color. Upon completion of the quiz, NakedPoppy’s technology curates a selection of options that will work best for you. There are a bunch of brands offered on the site which include Lily Lolo, Antonym Cosmetics, Ere Perez Natural Cosmetics, and Kosas Cosmetics.

]]> Just this week, the cast of Cats premiered the film in New York City and we can’t stop thinking about Taylor Swift’s look. The singer shows up to every red carpet event looking flawless, but her Oscar del la Renta gown at the Cats premiere caught our attention.

Swift just celebrated her 30th birthday and apparently, the party didn’t stop because she showed up in this amazing red and black floral satin gown. You won’t believe the best part of this dress – it has pockets! Swift paired the dress with red lipstick, a classic for the singer, and a pair of Chloe Gosselin shoes.

Apparently, we weren’t the only ones eyeing Swift’s dress. After she posted the look on social media her fans went wild. One fan wrote on Twitter, “omg does taylors dress have pockets because she’s sneaking snacks into the theatre she is one of us.” 

To look this good comes at a price, $17,990 to be exact and that’s just for the dress alone. And despite the high price tag, the dress is already sold out. But, we wouldn’t dare to wear this dress as their’s no way we could pull it off like Swift does.

Daisy Ridley

We’re not sure if Ridley’s crimson one-shoulder Oscar de la Renta gown with a long train was an ode to the dark side. Regardless, our favorite part of the gown was the criss-cross low back detail. We also loved the high slit on the side which showcased her sparkly red shoes which perfectly matched the gown.

Kelly Marie Tran

This fan-favorite was definitely the brightest star in the sky in this navy sequinned dress by Jason Wu. The off the shoulder gown featured a classic mermaid silhouette and Tran’s hair and makeup was kept natural, drawing all the focus onto the amazing dress.

Naomi Ackie

You probably don’t recognize Ackie from the previous film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and that’s because she’s getting her start in the Star Wars universe in this film. We had major gown envy of her one-shoulder floor-length white dress with a cape and cut-out details.

]]> We had high hopes going into the 2021 Met Gala as the event was postponed from its usual May date and we weren’t disappointed. The theme was American style and the stars brought glam to the red carpet. While some took the theme quite literally wearing red, white, and blue, others were all about high fashion. There were so many jawdropping looks that we had trouble narrowing it down to our top five. Here were the best looks of the night.

Megan Fox

A lady in red never disappoints and Megan Fox brought Old Hollywood glam to the red carpet in this red lace-up dress by Dundas that featured a high leg slit. Her hair and makeup were also on point.

Iman

This look from the model took our breaths away and while it’s over-the-top, it certainly worked perfectly for the Met Gala. The gold showstopping jumpsuit with a tiered, feather overskirt and matching headpiece was designed by Harris Reed.

Lil Nas X

The rapper revealed not one, not two, but three epic looks from Versace. The first was a royal dress, then he de-robed to a gold armor suit, before the final look which was a sparkly bodysuit.

Kendall Jenner

Barely there dresses have been really popular at award shows, but Kendall Jenner made it look super classy with this stunning sheer beige, curve-hugging, rhinestone-encrusted dress by Givenchy.

Barbie Ferreira

The Euphoria star graced the Met Gala in this stunning pearl-encrusted Jonathan Simkhai gown that also brought Old Hollywood. The dress featured halter and off-the-shoulder details and it hugged her curves perfectly.

The creators of NakedPoppy, Jaleh Bisharat and Kimberly Shenk, decided it was time to do something about this problem so they developed technology to help create personalized makeup recommendations. NakedPoppy is a website that sells cruelty-free, clean, long-lasting beauty products.

Bisharat, co-founder and CEO of the company said, “We call it better for you, better on you. We wake up breathing clean beauty… it’s the core of what we do.”

The site offers a three-minute quiz to access your skin type, skin color, hair color, etc. The assessment also has a camera that takes a picture of your wrist to figure out your base skin color. Upon completion of the quiz, NakedPoppy’s technology curates a selection of options that will work best for you. There are a bunch of brands offered on the site which include Lily Lolo, Antonym Cosmetics, Ere Perez Natural Cosmetics, and Kosas Cosmetics.

NakedPoppy released their first product, the NakedPoppy Clean Liquid Eyeliner and they plan on coming out with more products in the future. You can check out the brand’s website here.

]]> Just this week, the cast of Cats premiered the film in New York City and we can’t stop thinking about Taylor Swift’s look. The singer shows up to every red carpet event looking flawless, but her Oscar del la Renta gown at the Cats premiere caught our attention.

Swift just celebrated her 30th birthday and apparently, the party didn’t stop because she showed up in this amazing red and black floral satin gown. You won’t believe the best part of this dress – it has pockets! Swift paired the dress with red lipstick, a classic for the singer, and a pair of Chloe Gosselin shoes.

Apparently, we weren’t the only ones eyeing Swift’s dress. After she posted the look on social media her fans went wild. One fan wrote on Twitter, “omg does taylors dress have pockets because she’s sneaking snacks into the theatre she is one of us.” 

To look this good comes at a price, $17,990 to be exact and that’s just for the dress alone. And despite the high price tag, the dress is already sold out. But, we wouldn’t dare to wear this dress as their’s no way we could pull it off like Swift does.

Daisy Ridley

We’re not sure if Ridley’s crimson one-shoulder Oscar de la Renta gown with a long train was an ode to the dark side. Regardless, our favorite part of the gown was the criss-cross low back detail. We also loved the high slit on the side which showcased her sparkly red shoes which perfectly matched the gown.

Kelly Marie Tran

This fan-favorite was definitely the brightest star in the sky in this navy sequinned dress by Jason Wu. The off the shoulder gown featured a classic mermaid silhouette and Tran’s hair and makeup was kept natural, drawing all the focus onto the amazing dress.

Naomi Ackie

You probably don’t recognize Ackie from the previous film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and that’s because she’s getting her start in the Star Wars universe in this film. We had major gown envy of her one-shoulder floor-length white dress with a cape and cut-out details.
