The Old Guard is one of the buzziest movies of the summer, but its stars never got a chance to promote it with a red carpet premiere and a traditional press tour. That didn’t stop Kiki Layne from serving some amazing looks during a virtual tour for this project.
Layne established herself as one of our favorite rising fashion stars after making her feature debut in If Beale Street Could Talk. She proved to be worthy of that title while promoting Netflix’s latest action flick and created a series of amazing looks with her stylists Wayman + Micah.
She impressed us while wearing power suits by Adriana Iglesias and Cushnie, showed her edgy side in Fenty’s faux leather ensemble, and even managed to make combat boots stylish. We didn’t see her in any lavish ballroom gowns, but Layne still managed to give us a couple of classy looks in mini dresses, and shorts and blouse combos.
The Old Guard star also did a couple of photoshoots from the comfort of her home. Her Wonderland cover shows her rocking several amazing Gucci pieces, and she looked equally stylish in InStyle’s socially distant photoshoot.
