Bloomingdale’s is Attracting New Customers Via Urgency

Bloomingdales, the posh department store, has decided to up the ante on millennial shoppers by creating a permanent pop-up shop.

“The Carousel” will have four locations throughout New York City and California. Each space will change every two months with different themes, products, clothes, and bonuses. They will offer food tastings, fitness classes, fashion classes, and more to add hype to the store.

The two-month rotations will create an urgency to attend, and attract both locals and tourists to the spots.

The spots will be curated by fashion designers, stylists, and more to ensure a perfect, Instagrammable, and fleeting experience.
