Britney Spears is the face of Kenzo’s newest collection. The 36-year-old pop star has signed a deal as a Spring 2018 spokesmodel for La Collection Memento N°2, which honors the Kenzo jeans debut in 1986.
The campaign ad was photographed by Peter Lindbergh in Los Angeles and featured Britney wearing a cropped green shirt and denim cap, a floral cropped top with a matching jacket, pants and cap, and an underwear set matched with denim jacket and boots.
“Britney Spears is an icon. She’s up there with Michael and Madonna. Growing up, she is also synonymous with denim with me. When she and Justin came out in their denim outfits, that is like an iconic look, When we were designing the collection, I was like, ‘If I can have a dream person, who would I want to be in denim? It has to be Britney.’ Britney is the queen of denim to me,” said Humberto Leon, Kenzo co-creative director.
