After a lot of anticipation, the Lunar New Year is finally here, and our favorite cosmetics brands are not done celebrating it. Many makeup collections inspired by this holiday emerged in the past few weeks and here are three that you can wear all year long.
Charlotte Tilbury
If we had to pick one brand that truly went all-in with its Lunar New Year line, Charlotte Tilbury would make the cut. This limited-edition line included lip and airbrush kits in beautiful gold and red packaging, but Tilbury also made sure to present us with several skincare products, such as magic cream and setting spray.
MAC Cosmetics
MAC Cosmetics also celebrated the arrival of the Year of the Rabbit in style and introduced us to a variety of makeup products inspired by this holiday. From an eight-pan eyeshadow palette to mascaras, lipsticks, blushes, and setting sprays, MAC’s Lunar New Year collection truly has it all.
Estée Lauder
Estée Lauder put all the other brands to shame with their Lunar New Year offering and prepared the most lavish collection to date. In addition to skincare products and eyeshadow palettes, Estée Lauder also released several rabbit-shaped powder and perfume compacts for passionate collectors.
