The color white represents purity. Wearing white on your wedding day is supposed to represent how your innocent self will now be committed to a partner…and, well, no longer innocent.
But through more experimentation and openness, we have beautiful wedding dresses in a variety of colors. One of these may feel more true to yourself than white. Take a look!
Red
Red is for the daring, sexy, sultry bride who wants to show off their body and strut their stuff. Red is associated with love, seduction, and power. A beaded or feathered red dress can make it pop (even more so!)
Blue
Take a note out of Cinderella’s book with a blue gown. Silver detail complements the color and can be just as classy as a white gown.

Black
For the gothic or alternative queen, a black dress fits best. Black is also a great choice if you want a strictly black-tie wedding party, or want to keep showing that mysterious front…even at your happiest.
Yellow
Show off your bright personality and radiating happiness with a yellow dress. These won’t make you look like big bird…instead, think of Belle!

Light Pink
This color is the closest to white and rings purity without completely following tradition.
