H&M Takes Sustainability to the Next Level with New Collection

Sustainable fashion is still on the rise, and it will take some time for all the major brands to embrace it, but H&M is already on board. Their new conscious collection is finally here and it features clothes made of pineapple and orange peel.

According to the brand’s official website, this range of organic and sustainable clothing offers a variety of new wardrobe favorites, including soft knits, stylish t-shirts, denim pieces, and comfortable underwear.

H&M’s creative advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson couldn’t wait to introduce this collection, which allowed their brand to explore the beauty of nature through a series of flowy and playful designs.

“We’re thrilled to introduce new plant-based sustainable materials to create high-performing, beautiful and fashionable pieces that are statement-making yet so easy to wear,” said Johansson.

The list of sustainable materials they used in creating this fashion range includes, Piñatex, leather alternative made from pineapple leaves and Orange Fiber, fashioned from citrus juice by-products.

H&M is planning to use only 100% recycled or other sustainably-sourced materials by 2030, and you’ll be totally on board with this decision after seeing their new collection.
