Jennifer Lopez owes one of her most iconic red carpet looks to Versace, and when the opportunity arose to collaborate with this brand again – she jumped right in! The famous singer and actress is the face of Versace’s latest campaign, which features a couple of familiar looks.
The futuristic campaign shows J. Lo rocking a series of different outfits, including a little red dress with fringed bottom and two all-black outfits. The one look that caught everyone’s eye was colorful pantsuit with plunging neckline and awfully familiar print.
This colorful number with instantly-recognizable tropical print pays homage to J.Lo’s iconic Versace dress from Grammy Awards in 2000. She rocked the reimagined version of the gown at the brand’s show at Milan Fashion Week, and she jumped at the opportunity to do it again.
Golden Globe-nominated actress said that the “Jungle dress” really marked a moment in time in terms of her career, and it was a pleasure to partner up with Versace again.
“To me, Versace represents empowerment and putting something beautiful out into the world. It’s a dream to collaborate with my friend Donatella again on this gorgeous campaign and to create something new and fresh out of a piece of iconic fashion history,” said Lopez.
