Oliva Wilde believes in a more sustainable fashion future, and her latest collection will make you believe in it too. Her company Conscious Commerce joined forces with online thrift store thredUP to create a new range of used clothing.
Their joined campaign “Choose Used” has one goal – combating the fashion waste crisis. The actress hopes this collection will remind people you can look nice in secondhand clothes, and make a real difference at the same time.
“Each garment is unique, printed with retro designs that encourage fashion re-use and they are awesome! We’re buying more and discarding clothes faster than ever before, pouring items into landfills in a constant search for newness and it has to stop,” explained Oliva Wilde on Instagram.
“Choose Used” features a series of colorful statement pieces, including t-shirts, denim jackets, sweatshirts and enamel pins. This collection is just one small step towards changing the way we thinking about used clothes, and Wilde hopes it will inspire people to make a positive impact on the planet by buying used items.
