Paco Rabanne, the beloved fashion and fragrance brand behind such classics as 1 Million and Lady Million, is entering its new era. After announcing its rebrand under the new moniker Rabanne, the 60-year-old house launched its first makeup line.

Founded in 1966 by Francisco Rabaneda Cuervo, Rabanne is dropping its first name as it enters its next chapter on the eve of its 60th anniversary. This announcement comes just a few months after the brand’s eccentric founder passed away in February.

“Simplified and more international in spirit, the name change to ‘Rabanne’ represents a pivotal moment for the Maison as it celebrates a decade of remarkable growth and looks forward to shaping a new future uniting fashion and beauty as one unique signature and lifestyle,” reads the brand’s official statement.

In addition to changing their name, Rabanne is celebrating their next era by entering the makeup scene. The Puig-owned fashion and fragrance house launched its first makeup line and introduced the makeup artist Diane Kendal as the global beauty creative director.

Rabanne’s makeup offering is separated into four categories: Eyephoria for eyes, Rouge Rabanne for lips, Nudes for skin coverage, and Arts Factory, which includes artistry-inspired, multi-purpose products. Prices range from about $20 to $40, and all of the products are vegan and cruelty-free.
