The Haute Couture Fashion Week returned to Paris last week, and it’s given us countless amazing trends along the way. From exposed corsets to rose-embellished dresses, here are some runway trends that will soon make it to the red carpet.

Battle of Glamour

Metallic ensembles took center stage at the Haute Couture Fashion Week, exuding a captivating aura reminiscent of medieval armor. Jean Paul Gaultier, Balenciaga, Iris van Herpen, and Georges Chakra are some of the designers who gave us an unexpected blend of luxury and medieval style with their new collections.

Rose Overload

The enchanting allure of roses took over the fashion world in recent months, and it’s still pretty strong. Giambattista Valli, Giorgio Armani Privé, and Jean Paul Gaultier are only some of the fashion houses that incorporated roses into their designs.

Ruffle Bonanza

Ruffles are somewhat of a mainstay in the fashion world, and they’re just becoming more extravagant as time goes by. Juana Martin, Rami Al Ali, and Alexandre Vauthier put a wild twist on this trend in Paris, infusing their collections with dramatic flair.

Corsets Reign Supreme

Corsets are continuing to dominate the fashion world, and they were going stronger than ever in Paris. Several designers put a twist on this trend with their edgy corset-style tops, including Schiaparelli to Zuhair Murad.
