Robot Sophia became a viral sensation after being spotted in the first row of Alexander Wang’s latest fashion show.
Several A-list stars showed up to support this brand, but none of them attracted more attention than this lifelike AI creation by Hanson Robotics. It’s always exciting to see who makes it to the front row at these prestigious events, but you usually expect attendants to be… Well, human.
To make the whole thing even more interesting, Sophia didn’t just sit there as the show ran its course. She followed each model with the rest of the crowd and her head turned every time they showed up on the catwalk!
Robot Sophia is ushering a whole new era of the fashion shows as we know them, and this isn’t even her first ride on the rodeo. She’s also been spotted at the Shanghai Fashion Week in October. That one makes sense since she’s a creation Hong Kong-based company, but it seems she’s slowly taking over the world.
