Sabrina Carpenter has been having the time of her life touring with her new album Short n’ Sweet, and she delivered some pretty iconic looks along the way. She recently gave Vogue an exclusive look behind the scenes and welcomed them inside her dazzling tour wardrobe.

Vogue joined Carpenter during a recent show in her hometown of Philadelphia, where she broke down her tour outfits alongside her stylist Jared Ellner. They talked about the pop culture icons that inspired them, including babydoll dresses reminiscent of Brigitte Bardot and catsuits that pay homage to Marilyn Monroe.

Carpenter revealed that this was her first time doing her wardrobe changes on tour, and it was very important to her to feel comfortable in each outfit, while also giving the fans something to be excited about.

“The way we change it up is through colors and details and accessories and, like, little things here and there so that way I always know what I’m getting into every night, but the audience can feel like they’re seeing something new consistently,” she told Vogue.

Carpenter’s tour wardrobe includes outfits by a wide range of designers, from Patou to Ludovic de Saint Sernin. The most memorable part of the whole ordeal is her iconic towel reveal, which sees her removing a Victoria’s Secret rhinestone-lined bath towel to reveal an amazing outfit hiding underneath.
