The Venice Film Festival took place this week and the celebrity fashion was almost more entertaining than the movies.
Scarlett Johansson, for one, dressed to impress in a gorgeous sequined Céline gown. The actress looked chic in the dress which boasted a thigh-high slit and a strapless neckline. She styled the look with slicked-back hair, symmetric chain-link earrings, and matching crimson, strappy sandals. Her makeup completed the ensemble perfectly with an edgy smokey eye.
The dress perfectly showcased her nature-inspired back tattoo.
Johansson was at the event to promote her latest film, Marriage Story, which co-stars Adam Driver, Ray Liotta, Laura Dern, and Alan Alda. The film, which is Noah Baumbach’s latest comedy, is about a couple living on opposite coasts while going through a rather brutal divorce.
Other best-dressed nominees from the night included Amanda Seyfried in a pretty, pink Alexander McQueen dress, Kristen Steward in a cropped sweater, trousers, and oxfords, Adam Driver in a navy Dior suit, and Candice Swanepoel in an Etro shirtdress.
