Selena Gomez has collaborated with many beauty and fashion brands over the years and she now wants to branch out and create her own. The singer’s getting ready to conquer the cosmetic world with Rare Beauty, set to launch this summer.
Gomez’s beauty brand has been two years in the making and she named it after her latest studio album. Her main goal with this line is to encourage people to feel comfortable with themselves, and not let likes or comments define them.
“I think Rare Beauty can be more than a beauty brand. I want us all to stop comparing ourselves to each other, and just start embracing our own uniqueness. Rare Beauty isn’t about how other people see you, it’s about how you see yourself,” said Gomez in a promotional clip.
The former Disney star can be seen trying different lipstick, eyeshadow and blush swatches in the video, but we’re yet to get a closer look at all the products she has in store. They’re coming our way this summer, and they’ll launch exclusively at Sephora stores across North America.
