]]> Another spectacular Oscars ceremony is behind us, and it was certainly one for the books! The red carpet at this year’s Academy Awards was truly top-notch, and it brought some pretty interesting fashion trends and red carpet looks our way.

The eponymous red carpet actually changed the color to champagne for the first time in history, and many stars welcomed the change by wearing gowns in neutral colors. White dresses were all the rage at this year’s Oscars, and the list of stars embracing this trend includes everyone from Michelle Yeoh and Tems to Halle Berry and Mindy Kaling.

This year’s Oscars didn’t lack black dresses, either, but our favorite stars managed to put a twist on this trend. Jessica Chastain and Nicole Kidman added some silver to the mix, while Cate Blanchett and Janelle Monae opted for vibrant shades of blue and orange.

The sea of ruffles and tulle overtook the champagne carpet. Florence Pugh’s gown almost matched the carpet, while Cara Delevingne, Angela Bassett, and Fan Bing Bin put their own spin on this trend.

]]> Kendall Jenner may not be the richest person in her family, but that didn’t stop her from becoming the highest-paid model in the world. For the second year in a row, the young reality star topped Forbes’ list of the most profitable models in the world.

Jenner came on top after earning $22.5 million. She scored her career-best in 2018 thanks to contracts with several popular brands, including Estée Lauder, Adidas, and Calvin Klein. She also received hefty paychecks thanks to numerous social media endorsements and involvement with the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Former Victoria’s Secret Angel Karlie Kloss was right behind, while Chrissy Teigen and Rosie Huntington-Whitely shared the third spot after earning $11.5 million each.

The famous model always looks flawless in every outfit she wears, but she made an extra effort for this occasion. Campbell picked a show-stopping black and silver Ralph and Russo dress and paired it with a floral hat and a pair of black leather gloves.

Meghan Markle

The Duchess of Sussex can do no wrong when it comes to fashion, and she impressed us once again with this bespoke Givenchy wool coat. This time, however, the outfit was talked about not for its fashion value. The coat sparked rumors (that turned out to be true) of a royal baby on the way.
