Cara Delevingne served as an ambassador of many major fashion and beauty brands over the years, and L’Oréal Paris is the next one in line. The British model and actress will usher in a new era for this French brand, and she can’t wait to follow in the footsteps of many amazing women who came before her.

Delevingne’s first-ever memories related to the beauty industry are tied to L’Oréal because she loved pretending to be Claudia Schiffer whenever she saw their commercials on TV. Many years later, she’ll join a long line of amazing women who represented this brand over the years.

“I am so excited to join the L’Oréal Paris family and the sisterhood that has been created by so many inspiring women before me. Beauty is a form of self-expression and self-empowerment, and I am so thrilled to partner with L’Oréal in their mission to inspire all people to reach their potential and to feel confident,” Delevingne said in a statement.

L’Oréal Paris president Delphine Viguier-Hovasse introduced Delevingne as their latest “Women of Worth” spokesperson, and praised her for embodying their “mission to empower women everywhere, no matter what hurdles stand in their way.” She joins the ranks of Eva Longoria, Elle Fanning, Viola Davis, and Kendall Jenner, who are some of L’Oréal’s current brand ambassadors.
