Tan France and Alexa Chung are two of our favorite people working in fashion today – and they’ll soon be working together! Queer Eye star will join forces with British designer on Netflix’s upcoming show titled Next in Fashion.
This competition series will see 18 aspiring designers competing for the chance to become the next big name in the fashion industry. In addition to getting exposure, thanks to Netflix, the winner of this show will receive a $250,000 prize and a chance to debut their collection with luxury e-tailer Net-a-Porter.
Tan France and Alexa Chung will serve as the hosts, but they’ll be in a good company. Celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart and Instagram’s director of fashion partnerships Eva Chen will serve as guest judges, with more to be announced very soon.
Over the course of ten episodes, designers will be put through a series of challenges that focus on different trends and design styles. The release date is still a mystery, but Next in Fashion is already on our watch list and we can’t wait to see all the visionary looks it has in store.
