Tracee Ellis Ross always has her wild curls on full display, but she also knows how difficult it can be to tame them. That’s why she came up with her own line of hair-care products, specifically for curly and tight textured hair.
The Black-ish actress has been dreaming about launching her own hair brand for decades and admitted that her line, Pattern, was ten years in the making, so she’s obviously thrilled to finally introduce it to the world.
“I was dreaming about doing this all through high school. I had logged hours and hours in the trenches with my hair. Many of us can chronicle the journey of our self-acceptance through the journey of our hair. I think, in all honesty, the timing is perfect,” Ross told Allure.
Pattern Beauty will officially launch on September 9th, and the first drop will feature all the products you need to get your curly hair in great shape – including shampoo, three conditioners, two hair oil serums, a brush, a hair clip, and a microfiber towel. The brand is dedicated to individuals with different curl type, ranging from 3B to 4C textures.
