A$AP Rocky has proven time and again that he is a force to be reckoned with in the fashion world. The rapper has transformed the once matronly and Eastern European “babushka” headscarf from something worn by Russian grandmothers into a chic hair accessory for the modern man. He’s been seen rocking the babushka everywhere from a LACMA gala in California (with a particularly iconic floral silk Gucci version) last year to a Fenty after-party in Paris (rocking a red scarf and matching red baseball cap) just this past week.
Now, Rocky is moving on to something equally bold -well, two things actually. The trendsetter was spotted at the Loewe runway show on Friday wearing an antique-looking choker and a woven side satchel adorned with white floral embellishments. Rocky used these unique pieces to accessorize his equally interesting black suit jacket and jeans with ankle-ties combo.
The musician’s choker is truly a piece of art while the tote provides the functionality of carrying everything you could ever need with you that women have been enjoying for years. We’ll see if these styles catch on, but one things for sure, Rocky will be back with more.
