Dakota Johnson Brings Fun and Function to the Red Carpet

Dakota Johnson reminded us all of the importance of dresses with pockets at her most recent red-carpet event.

The actress made us all jealous of her fabulous yet functional frock at the screening of her movie The Peanut Butter Falcon in Los Angeles. Johnson wore a mini dress by Yves Saint Laurent which was marked by intricate gold embroidery, interesting structure, cheeky cutouts, and of course, pockets. The designer dress is from the autumn/winter 2019 collection and available for purchase upon request.

Looking beyond effortless while posing with her hands in hip-level pockets, the beauty topped off the look with strappy sandals, gold hoops, a red lip, and her hair in a high pony and delicate tresses dancing on her cheekbones.

Johnson attended the event with her co-star Shia LeBeouf. The two appear in the Mark Twain-esque film which chronicles the story of a boy with Down’s syndrome who dreams of becoming a professional wrestler and runs away to make said dream come true. Johnson portrays, Eleanor, the boy’s caretaker, while LeBeouf plays the boy’s mentor, Tyler.
