Culpo tied the knot with the NFL star Christian McCaffrey in a magical Rhode Island ceremony and wore several dresses along the way. She chose a custom Dolce & Gabbana dress for the ceremony and wanted it to embrace beauty and simplicity.
“I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complementing me, not overpowering me. There’s so much beauty and simplicity. I never felt more beautiful than when I was in my ceremony dress and under my veil – I really wanted the simplicity of each component to harmonize perfectly,” she told Vogue.
Culpo also said that she didn’t want the dress to “exude s– in any way, shape or form” because she believes McCaffrey finds her most beautiful in something “timeless, covered, and elegant.” This comment stirred a lot of controversy about wedding fashion on social media, and Culpo had to hit back by saying this dress was everything she wanted and more.
Culpo also joined forces with Dolce & Gabbana for her reception and after-party dress, which saw her completely switching up her wedding style. The white strapless mini dress featured a sheer hoop skirt and floral embellishments, and she paired it with sheer white gloves.
