A new year brings new red carpet trends along, and 2020 already gave us its first major fashion craze. Puffy sleeves are taking the world by storm and here’s a couple of stars who made a statement by rocking them on the red carpet.

Jodie Comer

The dramatic sleeves first made a splash at this year’s Golden Globe ceremony, and Comer’s emerald Mary Katrantzou gown was one of many that put this trend on the map.

Beyoncé

Beyoncé also gave her seal of approval to fashion pieces with puffy sleeves with this custom Schiaparelli gown, that perfectly blended black and gold shades.

Bebe Rexha

The “Last Hurrah” singer proved that little black dress and signature sleeves can be a perfect combo with this adorable Yanina Couture number.

Cynthia Erivo

Over-the-top sleeves were all the rage at the Critics’ Choice Awards, as well, and Erivo was one of the stars who embraced this trend with her colorful Fendi number.

Olivia Wilde

Wilde kept things simple and classy with her Valentino gown, but puffy sleeves gave it that special something it would’ve been missing otherwise.
