]]>Bieber took part in Levi’s festival campaign last year, and she decided to return, even now that dancing to great music all night long is off the table.
All our favorite festivals are being postponed or canceled in the face of the global health crises, but Levi’s still wanted to share this collection with the world, as a reminder that music and youth provide hope in uncertain times.
Levi’s CMO Jen Sey described Bieber and Smith as the best possible partners for this campaign because they remind us what it’s like to be filled with hope in difficult times.
“As I look at Jaden and Hailey – our friends and partners – I’m so encouraged. Hailey’s optimism and authenticity are inspiring. Jaden’s commitment to the environment, his passion to educate us on how we can all choose more wisely, more responsibly,” said Sey in a press release.

]]>This campaign is a brainchild of Louis Vuitton’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, who came up with the idea to use works of fiction and incorporate them into different outfits.
“Fashion is a novel and the pre-fall 2020 collection embarks on a narrative journey where the garments tell their own tales. In such a ‘wearable library,’ each outfit writes its own chapter made up of romantic monologues,” states Louis Vuitton’s lookbook notes.
Ghesquière wasn’t alone on this journey since some of our favorite Hollywood superstars agreed to participate. Léa Seydoux, Chloë Grace Moretz, Sophie Turner, Jaden Smith, and Emma Roberts are only some of the celebrities who were a part of this campaign, and reimagined retro posters and book covers for this sci-fi and horror-inspired the 24-page lookbook.

]]>Last year, it seems that A$AP Rocky pioneered the look when he wore a Gucci silk scarf wrapped around his head, reminiscent of a Russian grandmother. Since then, not only has A$AP Rocky written a song about this headgear, but the movement has picked up steam; notable scarf sporters include Frank Ocean, Marc Jacobs, and now, Jaden Smith.
Smith is already quite well known for stepping outside the box in terms of his sense of fashion, so it makes perfect sense that he would opt for this uniquely intriguing look. The young entrepreneur/singer/actor debuted his babushka at the L.A. launch for his line, MSFTSrep. He cranked it up a step further by wearing a tie-die kerchief, apparently paying homage to his collection “Trippy Summer,” a collaboration with Stance socks.
