Midaxi dresses are everywhere, from the catwalks to the high street collections. Designers like Clare Waight Keller, Marc Jacobs, and Alexander McQueen are nodding approvingly as they include midaxi dresses and skirts in their autumn/winter 2019 collections, which means the trend is here to stay.
“They’re really flattering and a great wardrobe investment,” says one of Rixo designers Henrietta Rix for Harper’s Bazaar. “Whenever I’m in rush and need to throw something on in the morning that I know I’ll feel great in, I always reach for my midaxi Ariel, Coleen or Tonya dress – they’re great for the office, as I don’t feel too overdressed and will see me right through if I have something on in the evening.”
