Victoria Beckham’s beauty brand hasn’t been here for too long, but she’s already making waves with her signature product smoky eye brick. This series of satin shine eyeshadows is already a huge hit, and a new shade called “Silk” made us love it even more.
This brand-new color combo became available on the official website of Victoria Beckham Beauty on April 3rd. It joins four original colors (Signature, Tuxedo, Royal, and Tweed), and one thing that makes it different from its predecessors is its shimmery texture, reminiscent of satin and subtle shine of silk.
Victoria Beckham said she was thinking about the tension between refinement and rebellion while working on her latest beauty drop, and drew inspiration from different ideas of women, but with no restrictions.
“[I was inspired by] overriding sentiment that we don’t have to follow the rules. We can follow our instincts. The look is pared back – a fresh, healthy complexion, paired with a golden highlight on the eyes allowing each individual’s characteristics to shine through,” said the fashion icon in a press release.
