Beyoncé stole the show at the London premiere of The Lion King in her golden Cong Tri gown, but her makeup was equally stunning and it perfectly matched her jaw-dropping dress. The singer’s makeup artists Sir John came up with this coordinating look and revealed how you can achieve it.
Sir John used the products from his own Lion King collection with Luminess – including both matte and shimmery shades from the eyeshadow palette, coffee brown eyeliner, the sculpting palette, brown lip liner, pounce lipstick, and a cinnamon-tinted lip gloss.
The famous makeup artist described his new collection as a labor of love, and he used Beyoncé’s look in London to truly capture the spirit of the animated classic that inspired it.
“I really wanted to create a nice daytime smoky eye using browns, an antique, champagne gold color like Nala, and a warm gold like Simba. It’s all about strategically placing these colors so that no matter where my client turns, their look is never too shimmery,” revealed Sir John while chatting with People Magazine.
