Karl Lagerfeld’s Final Chanel Show Brought Everyone To Tears

Fashion world lost one of its biggest icons when Karl Lagerfeld passed away last month. His lasting legacy was celebrated during Chanel’s show at the Paris Fashion Week, which presented the final collection he designed for this luxury fashion house.

Lagerfeld’s final show was a feast for everyone’s eyes, and fashion enthusiasts in attendance were transported into another world after seeing the runway transform into a winter wonderland. The whole thing was staged to look like alpine ski village with snow-covered streets, which served as a perfect set-up for this amazing collection.

Before the models showed up to present Lagerfeld’s creations to the world, the groundbreaking designer was honored with a moment of silence. Chanel brand ambassador Penelope Cruz joined them for the first time, as her way of paying tribute to the late fashion icon.

“Collection I saw today gave me the chills; it was the past, present and future. I was smiling and crying at the same time, seeing all these people celebrating him together and at the same time the beginning of something else,” said Cruz.
