Chanel has collaborated with many pop culture icons over the years, and Kendrick Lamar is the next one in line. The Grammy and Pulitzer prize-winning rapper became the latest brand ambassador for Chanel, and kicked off his collaboration with the luxury fashion house by appearing in their latest eyewear campaign.

Before kicking off his partnership with Chanel, Lamar spent a week in Paris with their team and explored the brand’s history, and this experience inspired him to deepen his collaboration with the French luxury brand.

“I visited the Chanel ateliers and saw the process of how something goes from design to execution. Seeing the people who work hard and bring these visions to life resonates with me. Chanel has a timeless legacy and that is always something I can get behind,” Lamar said in a statement to Business of Fashion.

Lamar had several brushes with Chanel long before becoming their brand ambassador. He wore Chanel glasses in the music video for his song “Luther” ft. SZA shortly before announcing his partnership with the brand.

Even though Chanel’s menswear offer is limited, they’ve collaborated with an impressive roster of male ambassadors in the past. Lamar is joining in the ranks of Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams, who were featured in Chanel’s eyewear campaign, and Timothée Chalamet, who’s the face of their “Bleu de Chanel” perfume range.

Donatella Versace served as a creative director of her family luxury brand for almost three decades, but her reign is coming to an end. She announced her decision to step down as the creative director of Versace this past week, leaving it up to Dario Vitale to take the reins.

Donatella served as creative director of the Italian luxury fashion house founded by her later brother Gianni Versace after his death in 1997. She’ll remain the brand’s chief brand ambassador from this point on, while Dario Vitale will take over as Versace’s creative director in April.

“Championing the next generation of designers has always been important to me. I am thrilled that Dario Vitale will be joining us, and excited to see Versace through new eyes. I want to thank my incredible design team and all the employees at Versace that I have had the privilege of working with for over three decades,” she said in a statement.

Vitale is best known for his work as a design director at Miu Miu. He’s been with this brand since 2010, after short stints with Dsquared2 and Bottega Veneta following his graduation from Istituto Marangoni in Milan. Versace said it’s a privilege to join the House of Versace and “contribute to the future growth of Versace and its global impact through [his] vision, expertise, and dedication.”

After collaborating with Louis Vuitton for over two decades, Pat McGrath is getting ready to take the next big step by their side. The celebrity makeup artist has been appointed the creative director of cosmetics for the newly launched beauty brand La Beauté Louis Vuitton.

Louis Vuitton CEO Pietro Beccari described the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton as a natural next step in their business evolution, adding it will allow them to “further accompany clients in their everyday lives with purpose and pleasure while continuing to celebrate our creativity and heritage.”

McGrath is looking forward to taking her partnership with Louis Vuitton in a brand-new direction, and she described this collaboration as a result of extraordinary craftsmanship, creativity, and innovation.

“Working backstage for over 20 years at Louis Vuitton fashion shows, I am thrilled to now play such a key role in the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton. The beauty universe is about so much more than just product, and what we are creating here will unlock a new level in luxury beauty,” she said in a statement.

La Beauté Louis Vuitton’s first product range won’t see the light of day until fall, but we already know what it has in store. The first drop will feature 55 lipsticks, 10 lip balms, and eight eyeshadow palettes, set to unlock a new level in luxury beauty.

Celebrity haircare lines are all the rage in Hollywood, and Ashley Tisdale took a deeply personal approach to her own. High School Musical star recently launched a haircare line under her wellness brand Frenshe, inspired by changes in her haircare routine in the face of an alopecia diagnosis.

Tisdale was diagnosed with alopecia areata after noticing a bald spot in the front of her hairline during her mid-20s. Her haircare routine significantly changed following her diagnosis, and she eventually decided to launch her own clean and gentle haircare line.

“I’d had such a journey with my hair and hair health. [The alopecia diagnosis] really made me stop in my tracks and rethink everything that I would do to my hair. I realized less is more and I needed to give more love to my hair and less stress,” she told People.

The Being Frenshe hair collection is the extension of Tisdale’s wellness brand Frenshe, and its first drop includes three collections, called Moisture, Restore, and Clarify. The Moisture line was designed to help hydrate your strands and scalp, and it offers everything from shampoo and conditioner to dry shampoo and hair oil.

The products in the Restore collection are meant to be used before bed, and they’ll help you rejuvenate your hair and scalp. As for the Clarify collection, it targets scalp health and offers clarifying shampoos, scalp serums, and scalp scrubs.

Almost a month later, Rodrigo’s first campaign with Lancôme hit the shelves, and it spotlight’s the brand’s L’Absolu Rouge Drama Matte lipstick. According to Marie-Eve Dove, the global marketing VP of Lancôme, their collaboration with Rodrigo represents a chance to reimagine beauty for current and future generations.

Carpenter took to social media to tease the launch of “Me Espresso”, and captioned the announcement by quoting the lyrics “soft skin and I perfumed it for ya” from the original song. It’s the latest addition to her Sweet Tooth line of perfumes inspired by different foods, which also includes scents Cherry Baby, Caramel Dream, and Sweet Tooth.

Hilton’s new beauty brand will launch under the Guthy-Renker umbrella, and their roster of high-profile clients already includes JLo Beauty and Cindy Crawford’s Meaningful Beauty. Their marketing executive Alexandra Marsh has been working on Hilton on 11:11 Beauty for two years. She called her a beauty expert because “she’s been taking care of her skin the right way since a very young age.”

Hilton is looking forward to the launch of her beauty brand, and she wants it to help people feel confident and live their most iconic lives.

“I’m so excited to partner with Guthy-Renker to bring my vision of high-tech, high-performance beauty and wellness routines to people around the world. Turner’s first LV campaign sees him modeling some of Williams’ latest designs, including the pink and yellow version of the Speedy P9 bag, along with a sand-hued tailored two-piece ensemble, plus a black cardigan with matching trousers, featuring zips across the knees.

The list of celebrities who launched new fragrances this year is getting longer by the day, and Khloé Kardashian just joined the gang. The popular media personality announced the long-awaited launch of XO Khloé, her debut fragrance which she described as her signature scent.

This isn’t Kardashian’s first foray into the world of fragrance, even though XO Khloé marks her debut solo perfume. She previously created other scents with her sister and her ex-husband Lamar Odom, but doing it on her own has been a truly personal and liberating journey.

XO Khloé will retail for $58 to $78, and it comes in a square crystal glass bottle with a rectangular lid. It opens with the top notes of rose petals, lavender, and sage bottoms, and includes the heart notes of orange blossom water, peach, and praline, before drying into soft wood and tonic bean notes.

According to Ulta Beauty’s press release, XO Khloé is “created to inspire us to radiate positivity, to envelop us with confidence and strength, and encourage us to create a sense of warmth, peace, kindness, and beauty through the love we share.” It will be available on their official website on December 1, before arriving in stores on December 8.

Rodrigo’s first campaign with Lancôme sees her embracing her signature winged eyeliner and a bold red lip. Lancôme listed the products she used on their official website, including Idôle liner and waterproof mascara, L’absolu rouge cream lipstick, and juicy tubes gloss.

Celebrity haircare lines are all the rage in Hollywood, and Ashley Tisdale took a deeply personal approach to her own. High School Musical star recently launched a haircare line under her wellness brand Frenshe, inspired by changes in her haircare routine in the face of an alopecia diagnosis.

Tisdale was diagnosed with alopecia areata after noticing a bald spot in the front of her hairline during her mid-20s. Her haircare routine significantly changed following her diagnosis, and she eventually decided to launch her own clean and gentle haircare line.

“I’d had such a journey with my hair and hair health. [The alopecia diagnosis] really made me stop in my tracks and rethink everything that I would do to my hair. I realized less is more and I needed to give more love to my hair and less stress,” she told People.

The Being Frenshe hair collection is the extension of Tisdale’s wellness brand Frenshe, and its first drop includes three collections, called Moisture, Restore, and Clarify. The Moisture line was designed to help hydrate your strands and scalp, and it offers everything from shampoo and conditioner to dry shampoo and hair oil.

The products in the Restore collection are meant to be used before bed, and they’ll help you rejuvenate your hair and scalp. As for the Clarify collection, it targets scalp health and offers clarifying shampoos, scalp serums, and scalp scrubs.

The Grammy-winning singer brought her fresh and bold energy to the French beauty brand’s new campaign, which puts the iconic L’Absolu Rouge Drama Matte lipstick front and center.

Rodrigo was announced as the new face of Lancôme just last month, joining the ranks of Amanda Seyfried, Emma Chamberlain, and Penélope Cruz. She said it was an honor to become a member of the Lancôme family because this iconic and timeless brand is committed to promoting beauty from within.

Almost a month later, Rodrigo’s first campaign with Lancôme hit the shelves, and it spotlight’s the brand’s L’Absolu Rouge Drama Matte lipstick. This timeless classic is available in 18 shades, and Rodrigo opted for two colors that perfectly capture her personal style – Haute en Pink and Plum Addiction.

According to Marie-Eve Dove, the global marketing VP of Lancôme, their collaboration with Rodrigo represents a chance to reimagine beauty for current and future generations.

“For this campaign, we wanted to emphasize Olivia’s natural beauty and youthful energy, while showcasing the elegance and power of L’Absolu Rouge Drama Matte, and how color can drive euphoric emotions. The creative direction was to keep things modern, fresh, and simple,” Dove told Forbes.

Carpenter took to social media to tease the launch of “Me Espresso”, and captioned the announcement by quoting the lyrics “soft skin and I perfumed it for ya” from the original song. It’s the latest addition to her Sweet Tooth line of perfumes inspired by different foods, which also includes scents Cherry Baby, Caramel Dream, and Sweet Tooth.

According to the singer’s official press release, this captivating and irresistible fragrance “blends rich cocoa powder and espresso bean with the sensual allure of night-blooming jasmine and vanilla orchid […] while a finish of caramel drizzle, sugared amber, and whipped cream creates an irresistible warmth.”

Hilton’s new beauty brand will launch under the Guthy-Renker umbrella, and their roster of high-profile clients already includes JLo Beauty and Cindy Crawford’s Meaningful Beauty. Their marketing executive Alexandra Marsh has been working on Hilton on 11:11 Beauty for two years. She called her a beauty expert because “she’s been taking care of her skin the right way since a very young age.”

Hilton is looking forward to the launch of her beauty brand, and she wants it to help people feel confident and live their most iconic lives.

“I’m so excited to partner with Guthy-Renker to bring my vision of high-tech, high-performance beauty and wellness routines to people around the world. I’m obsessed with our first collection set to come out in spring 2025 and can’t wait for the world to see everything we have in store,” said Hilton in a statement to WWD.

Turner’s first LV campaign sees him modeling some of Williams’ latest designs, including the pink and yellow version of the Speedy P9 bag, along with a sand-hued tailored two-piece ensemble, plus a black cardigan with matching trousers, featuring zips across the knees.

The list of celebrities who launched new fragrances this year is getting longer by the day, and Khloé Kardashian just joined the gang. The popular media personality announced the long-awaited launch of XO Khloé, her debut fragrance which she described as her signature scent.

This isn’t Kardashian’s first foray into the world of fragrance, even though XO Khloé marks her debut solo perfume. She previously created other scents with her sister and her ex-husband Lamar Odom, but doing it on her own has been a truly personal and liberating journey.

XO Khloé will retail for $58 to $78, and it comes in a square crystal glass bottle with a rectangular lid. It opens with the top notes of rose petals, lavender, and sage bottoms, and includes the heart notes of orange blossom water, peach, and praline, before drying into soft wood and tonic bean notes.

According to Ulta Beauty’s press release, XO Khloé is “created to inspire us to radiate positivity, to envelop us with confidence and strength, and encourage us to create a sense of warmth, peace, kindness, and beauty through the love we share.” It will be available on their official website on December 1, before arriving in stores on December 8.
