It’s still unclear how long we’ll have to wait for the second season of Euphoria, but Davy’s Instagram page is here to give us all the makeup inspiration we need in the meantime. She’s breaking new ground with each new look, and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, and co. when the teen show comes back.

Then I was like, “This is not my look,” so I took that as a challenge to turn it into a look that I liked. I messed with it for a few mins, took some pics and called it a night. I kept my eyebrows scruffy to contrast with the heavily beat face. I’m not used to wearing visible makeup so if I have everything polished I feel too done up and just not like me. Anyone else out there feel that? I’m having second thoughts about NOT using the electric blue eyeliner as a lip liner, but I also kinda like how none of the colors match but they all are VIBING. I believe the technical term I’m looking for is complimentary colors

]]>Demie became the face of MAC’s “More Than Meets the Eye” line, which features “new and revamped formulas for eyes,” according to the brand’s official website. The list of products in this collection includes revamped eye shadows and big boost fiber gel for eyebrows. The young actress has been a fan of this brand since her youth since her mom used to work as MAC makeup artist.
Demie brought many of her own makeup ideas to the set of Euphoria, and her partnership with MAC was just as collaborative because they were open to everything she brought to the table.
“From the beginning they were super open to all of my ideas. The creative director, Drew [Elliott], was extremely collaborative. They sent me concepts and I sent some images back and then we just blended the two worlds together,” explained Demie while chatting with Elle.

The bold approach they adopted this time around gives a clear nod to some of the signature looks from Euphoria, which has taken Instagram by storm the last few months. Minimalist looks are long gone, and they’ve been replaced with graphic eyeliner, neon eyeshadow, and rhinestone details.
It’s really been refreshing to see Euphoria-inspired looks make their way to NYFW because they brought a youthful, offbeat, and bold vibe to each show they were featured in. We’re looking forward to seeing them at even more runways in the future because this event showed the world they certainly belong there.

]]>Bivens’ main goal was to use fashion as a means of expression for Rue, Jules, and the gang, but it was also important to her that Euphoria reflects the reality of their generation.
“I was looking at real teens. I would go to high schools – not to be a creep – but I’d sit outside and watch teens when they would get out of school, just to see what was really going on with how they dress, how they have access to clothes and where they shop,” explained Bivens in an interview with Fashionista.
Bivens ended up using a lot of vintage pieces to capture the nostalgia of Gen-Z wardrobes and dive deep into the individuality of each character. It was also important to her to shed a light on aspiring young designers, so she reached out to many new labels based around the world.
